Terms of Service

1. Scope
These terms govern use of the MacMan website (macman.app) and the MacMan app ("Service"), operated by 3&D Inc. ("Company"). Using the Service means you agree to them.
2. The Service
- The current MacMan app is a free diagnostic tool: it scans your storage read-only, analyzes what makes up "System Data", and provides per-item safety grades and cleanup guidance. The app itself never deletes or modifies any file.
- Pricing and refund terms for paid features are set out in Section 3 below and disclosed again at checkout.
3. Paid license, payment, and refunds
Paid features are sold as a perpetual license with a one-time payment. The price is the amount shown at checkout (tax included where applicable).
- Delivery: a license key is issued on screen and by email immediately after payment. Delivery of the digital content begins when the key is issued.
- Scope: use on Macs you own, with up to 2 devices activated at the same time. Moving the license between devices is unlimited and done in the app.
- Refunds: if the license key has not been activated, you may cancel for a full refund within 7 days of payment.
- Limits: once the key is activated, withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Everything the paid features act on can be verified beforehand with the free diagnosis.
- Our fault: if the app fails to work as described for reasons attributable to the Company, we refund in full regardless of the above.
- How to request: email [email protected] — processed within 3 business days; card reversals follow your card issuer's schedule.
4. Your responsibility
- Cleanup guidance is reference information based on measurements. Acting on it — deleting files — is your decision and your responsibility.
- Back up anything important before any deletion.
- Do not use the Service in violation of law or these terms.
5. No warranty; limitation of liability
The free Service is provided "AS IS", without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from use of the free Service, absent willful misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and its components (software, design, marks, content) belong to the Company. The app is licensed for personal, non-commercial use; decompiling and redistribution are not permitted.
7. Privacy
Personal data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
Changes are posted here with a new effective date; material changes are announced on the site.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
